How to add contacts to a relation
Do you have a business card from your relation? This usually contains the details of the contact person. The lines hang under a relation header. In MKG you enter the details of contact persons at line level; after all, a relation can have several contact persons. Follow this step-by-step plan to add a contact person to the relation card. |
Step 1. Go to the Contacts tab
On the module home page, find and select the relation you want to add contacts to. The relation card opens and the relation header is filled with the general data.
Go to the 'Contacts' tab. This tab is now empty: there is No data available. You can also see the number of entered contacts of this relation in the label of the tab.
Step 2. Create a contact line
You can now add one or more lines on this tab. Click Contact
to create a line. A list will now appear on your screen. This list contains the most important fields.
Contact maintenance | You can now of course enter the data in the list. This list contains a number of standard fields. Double-click before the line. This opens the contact maintenance and you have access to more input fields and a better overview of the check boxes. |
Step 3. Enter the personal data
In the 'Contact person' group you can put Initials, First name, Infix and Last name.
In the 'General' group you will find, among other things, the fields Title, Position and Language. These fields are populated from the tables Contact's title
, Functions en Language codes . By filling in the Salutation letter and Salutation address fields, you automate the salutation in the correspondence with this contact person.In the 'Contact' group you can enter your own (extension number) and mobile telephone number. By ticking and completing the Own email box, your report will be sent directly to the contact person's mailbox.
Stap 4. Voeg de contactpersoon toe
Click Save
You have now added the contact person to the relation.
Add another contact? | Repeat the previous steps for any other contact you want to add to the relation. A department is also a contact person in MKG. |
Step 5. Navigate to the Relation
Have you added one or more contacts? You can return to the Relation via the navigation bar. On the 'Contacts' tab, you will see the added contacts listed in order. You can now set up a contact as the default contact for your process documents, such as the quotation, the order confirmation, the packing slip and the invoice. How to set up the default contacts
