How to turn a relation into a debtor
In MKG, the relation forms the basis for a debtor and/or creditor. From the module CRM you can immediately turn a relation into a debtor. You use the 'Sales' tab for this. You can read how to do that in the step-by-step plan below. |
Step 1. Select the relation
Find or select the relation on the module home page.
Step 2. Go to the Sales tab
The relation card is open. You will end up on the 'General' tab. You will now go to the 'Sales' tab. The 'no' on the label of the tab shows that no sales quotation or debtor has yet been linked to this relation. Expand - if necessary - the group 'Debtors'.
Step 3. Create a new debtor
Click Debtor
. MKG now automatically opens the table Debtors . You will end up on the 'General' tab. Because this table is opened from the relation, the fields Relation and Company name are automatically filled in the header.Step 4. Enter the debtor details
It is a legal obligation to state the Chamber of Commerce number on quotations, orders, invoices and business letters and e-mail messages. Enter the 8-digit Chamber of Commerce number of the relation in the Chamber of Commerce number field.
Then go to the 'Financial' tab. Enter the IBAN of the relation in the IBAN field. On the same tab - if necessary - expand the 'VAT' group. Enter the VAT number field with the VAT number of the relation.
Chamber of Commerce number unknown? | You can look up the Chamber of Commerce number of each company in the Trade Register (NL). |
Step 5. Create the debtor
Click Save
. The debtor has been created. Navigate to the Relation and click Refresh . The label of the 'Sales' tab now shows a 'yes' and the report Relation card (8000) also shows the debtor data. You can now create sales orders and sales invoices for this contact.- Published:28 nov 2022 10:43
