MKG Cloud System Requirements

To make optimal use of our software, we advise you to meet our recommended system requirements. This article contains advice for using our software in the MKG Cloud.

 


The MKG software is available as a cloud solution, so that your own server is not required. This service also includes making backups and providing version updates.


 

Internet speed

When using our software from the cloud, a good internet connection is important. MKG advises potential users to take our speed test. Based on the table below, you will get an impression of our experience of MKG use in the cloud in combination with internet speeds.

When internet use increases, the download and upload bandwidth is shared. Keep this in mind when assessing your speeds.

 

Document management

MKG offers in its software the option for fast and efficient handling of linking and archiving documents in various MKG processes. The end user must ensure a file location that is available to the entire organization (read and write rights). To apply this, a share (accessible via UNC from Samba) or a synchronization folder from Dropbox or Onedrive, for example, is required.

 

 

 

MKG API

MKG has integrated an API (REST) interface into its software, which can be used to unlock the ERP environment for (mobile) applications or other web applications. In our cloud environment(s), only integrations with our add-on partners are available.

 

Other system requirements
In addition to these, system requirements have also been drawn up for the MKG Workstation, the MKG Server (on-premise or private cloud) and the MKG Terminal Server (on-premise or private cloud).
