Price structure: administration settings

This article describes the administration settings on the 'Price structure' tab. On this tab you will find the standard settings for the price structure in MKG5, divided into 'Price structure', 'Operations', 'Items' and 'Distribution net price calculation'.

The administration settings form the basis of MKG. From the numbering of orders to the course of processes, everything is determined by the administration settings.

Price structure

  • Coverage %. Enter a coverage percentage here that can be calculated over the net price. Cover can be provided for hours, materials and outsourcing. Not visible in the process by default.
  • (Actual) calculation %. Enter a calculation percentage and/or PreC/PostC percentage here that can be calculated over the cost price. Subsequent calculation percentages can be given for hours, material and outsourcing. Visible in the process by default.
  • Commercial %. Enter a quotation percentage and/or order percentage here that can be calculated over the calculation price and PreC/PostC price. Quotation and order percentages are given over the entire quotation and order. Visible in the process by default.

Operations

  • Recommended rate. Composition of the suggested retail price for operations. As a rule, this is the billable (sales) rate.
  • Cost price. Composition of the cost price for operations. As a rule, this is net + coverage.

Items

  • Rec. calculation price. Compilation of the recommended calculation price for items. As a rule, this is net + coverage + calculation surcharge.
  • Use sales price agreements for materials. Check box to indicate that sales price agreements on materials are used. These agreements can then be used in a calculation and/or production order. The material must then be created as an item, with associated sales price agreements.

Distribution net price calculation

  • Distribution net price calculation. If a line is created without an item, the cost price is determined in this way (if it is calculated at all).

Choices for settings are made and recorded during the implementation process. Changes in this can have far-reaching consequences. Therefore, only make changes under the guidance of an MKG consultant or the MKG Helpdesk. Authorization of the administration settings is recommended so that no unexpected changes can occur without the knowledge of the system administrator.
