SalCon (Virtutec)

With this integration you can easily connect this CPQ configurator to your CRM or ERP system.

 

SalCon

SalCon never stands alone. Through our API we can link MKG to customer data and quotation management. Configure in a 3D environment, after which creating a quote via MKG is easy to do. In this way, it is already known in the exploratory phase with the customer which product can be available in what time and at what price. These facts not only make you reliable as a supplier, but can also help you make the right decision.

 

The connection

With the SalCon configurator you give your customers confidence in your products by showing them a visual representation of an upcoming delivery. Help your customer put together the party mode, even if he is on the other side of the world. Configure the most complex projects into a suitable solution, while you receive all essential information for your engineering and production in the background. Then generate a suitable quotation in your own corporate identity via MKG with one click of the mouse and convince the prospective customer of the benefits.

We also offer various solutions for those companies that are not yet very advanced with 3D models. For example, a configurator based on a text sheet can also easily be set as a standard option within SalCon.

Virtutec has developed an API for a simple exchange of data between the Virtutec DXP platform (of which SalCon is part) and MKG. This way you always work with the latest information and adjustments in one system do not become a bottleneck in the other. This add-on reduces the chance of errors, saves you a lot of time and increases the quality of your quotes. And more importantly, your customer has already ‘experienced’ your product. even before it has been physically delivered.

Requirements on the part of MKG

  • This connection requires an on-premise MKG5 environment with the MKG API that can be accessed from outside.
  • The MKG Exchange license (full control) must be active.
  • API Key and a user with specific rights.

    • Limited user
    • Full user
  • Virtutec SalCon license Enterprise
    • Depending on user numbers, group licenses are also available
  • Configuration of MKG data via the Virtutec Dashboard (Server, API Key, Username, Password)
  • API user for connection to MKG
