HiCAD (ISD Benelux)

The HiCAD MKG Bill of Materials Integration makes it possible to quickly and easily exchange bills of materials and item information between HiCAD and MKG. This has the great advantage that the parts lists are transferred quickly, error-free and automatically from HiCAD to MKG.

 

ISD benelux

During engineering, the parts are linked to an article in HiCAD. The integration will transfer the item data from MKG into HiCAD. Consider the item number and description. At the push of a button, the engineer can synchronize the complete parts list structure that is built up in HiCAD with MKG at any time.

It is also possible to save the drawings in MKG. This way, all departments within your company have direct access to the technical 2D drawing, DXF result or the 3D model. All documents in PDF format if desired. The advantage is that everyone always has the latest (good) revision of the technical drawing. This prevents incorrect orders and/or failure costs during the production or purchasing phase.

 

The connection

Using this HiCAD-MKG integration will reduce the chance of errors, save time and increase quality. It will also be able to contribute to more standardization in the engineering phase.

Due to the intuitive interface, every engineer is able to immediately apply the integration in their daily work. This allows immediate use of the great benefits that this integration offers.

  • This connection requires an on-premise MKG5 environment with the MKG API that can be accessed from outside.
  • The MKG Exchange license (full control) must be active.
  • API Key and a user with specific rights.
