BCO Coverage and Occupancy Monitoring (8000)

The BCO Coverage and Occupancy Monitoring dashboard can be used to monitor the extent to which the budgets set match the actual direct hours, the man-machine ratio and the coverage. This also makes it possible to monitor the extent to which the costs are covered by the direct hours realised. These are visible both graphically and in grids.

Where in MKG?

This dashboard can be found in the BCO Dashboards

module. If the 'Dashboard' form has not been opened yet, you can do so by opening the hamburger menu in the top right corner of the screen
, selecting the 'Forms' option, and then clicking on 'Dashboard'. Within the form, the dashboard can be opened by clicking the Views
button and selecting BCO Coverage and Occupancy Monitoring (8000).

Parameters

  • From period: The period from which the dashboard displays data.
  • To period: The period until which the dashboard displays data.
  • From fiscal year: The fiscal year from which the dashboard displays data.
  • To fiscal year: The fiscal year until which the dashboard displays data.
  • Grouped by: With this parameter, you can choose the field by which data in the dashboard should be grouped. A value of 1 groups data by work order type, and a value of 2 groups data by operation group.

Notes

This dashboard can retrieve data for a maximum of 5 past fiscal years. If a year is entered in the 'From fiscal year' parameter that is more than 5 fiscal years ago, the dashboard will not display data.

Different fiscal years are not merged in this dashboard. Selection between fiscal years can be made using the 'Fiscal Year' filter on the left side of the screen.

In the 'Graphical Hours' and 'Graphical Amounts' tabs, you can click through to underlying operations in the 'List' table by double-clicking on the group for which you want to view the underlying operations.

In the 'Graphical Hours' and 'Graphical Amounts' tabs, the graphs can display three colors. By default, 'Realization' is colored dark blue in these graphs, but if this value falls below the light blue 'Budget', it will be colored orange as an indicator.

In the 'Hours Monitoring' tab, the realized man-machine ratio (MMR real.) is colored red if it deviates from the established man-machine ratio (MMR planned).

Graphical Hours

The 'Graphical Hours' tab contains a list per operation group with the following:

  • Man-hours per operation group - actual man-hours per operation group
  • Budget man-hours per operation group - BCO operation budget
  • The deviation between them
  • Machine hours per operation group - actual machine hours per operation group
  • Budget machine hours per operation group - BCO operation budget
  • The deviation between them

Four graphs are provided. The bar turns blue for 'over-budgeted hours' and orange for 'under-budgeted hours'. The light blue line represents the budget.

  • Man-hours per period
  • Cumulative man-hours
  • MMR (man/machine ratio)
  • Machine hours per period
  • Cumulative machine hours

Hours Monitoring

The 'Hours Monitoring' tab provides a schematic overview of the hours worked, divided into two blocks. In the first block, hours are divided per operation group. Clicking on an operation group in the second block displays a detailed overview per operation. The columns are divided as follows:

  • The first block on the left side concerns man-hours: Assigned man-hours, budget man-hours, realized std. man, realized ov. man, deviation, and the percentage deviation.
  • The second and middle block concerns machine hours: Assigned machine hours, budget machine hours, realized std. machine, realized ov. machine, deviation, and the percentage deviation.
  • The third, rightmost block: The operation man/machine ratio and the realized man/machine ratio.

Total counts can be found at the bottom of the columns. Small deviations can often be ignored as they are not very relevant.

Graphical Amounts

The 'Graphical Amounts' tab provides a similar overview as 'Graphical Hours', but in terms of money.

Financial

The 'Financial' tab provides insight into the amounts per month and also displays the total coverage.
