Updating a fiscal year
After creating the new fiscal year, it is still possible to make entries in the old fiscal year. As a result, the closing balance sheet of a fiscal year may no longer correspond to the opening balance sheet of the new fiscal year.

To update the opening balance sheet of the new fiscal year, there is an option available on the 'Maintenance administration' screen via the Update fiscal year button. |
- Update opening balance/Update hours balance. The balances are updated from fiscal year 2023 to fiscal year 2024 (if desired, this can be done several times).
- Other updating options. Process settings are copied one-to-one from fiscal year 2023 to 2024.

In case of repeated use, adjustments already made will be overwritten in the new fiscal year. If an error message appears when updating a fiscal year, the fiscal year must be updated after the error(s) have been resolved.
